Most hotels/motels and all inclusive vacation resorts figure their room rates per person-double occupancy, so usually no single supplement is available. Cruise ships on the other hand will offer single supplements on a cabin that could cost one third to one half over the published price per person. Some of the newer cruise ships have single cabins (usually smaller) with no single supplements.
