Holiday cruises are a little more expensive, and the length of the cruise may vary from 1 day shorter than a normal cruise, to possibly 1 or 2 days longer than the normally scheduled cruise. The reason why the length of the cruise varies, is so the cruise lines can get their ships back on a scheduled departure and return date that satisfies the port requirements, and space availability.
The good news is the ships are normally less crowded, the food is better with more holiday themed meals in our opinion, the ships are normally decorated beautifully, and last but not least, the crew and staff have the time, and are really at your service.
